At the bike days in solothurne, were the swiss bike cup took place, ramona forchini showed her current very good shape and went away with a 3rd place .

During the interview at the finish, ramona had a grin in her face „in the last corner i gave away the second place“. But the rest of the race was a solid show.

Forchini made a big effort in lap 3 and went away from the chasing pack, closed the gap to linda indergand, riding on 3rd position. Toghether, the both swiss girls, worked well together and were closing the gap to alessandra keller, riding on second place, while the german rider, elisabeth brandau, was leading with a bigger gap.

In the last lap forchini was pushing hard in the uphill and the group of 3 just became a pack of 2. She made everything right and was riding on position two towards the finish. But the big mistake, she was grinding at the finishiline, was made in the last corner. in this corner, forchini took the outside line which was a bit longer and that’s why she lost the second place. But ramona was still pretty happy about here race, finishing 3rd, with a gab of 36second, to the winner elisabeth brandau.

Elisabeth Osl diden’t had so much fun at this race. Already in lap 2 she was throwed back because of a damage, and lost the opportunity for a great result. After that she gave it all, pushed hard and attacked in the uphill. It worked well and she made her way towards the front in the bunch. But she wasen’t really lucky and got a puncture in the downhill. Again she lost some positions. Back, riding on place 18, she did fight till the finish and went home with a 13. position
Our youngest, lara krähemann got 16th. and in here age she took the 6th place.

Our elite rider thomas litscher, came by a the bikedays for some autograph sessions at our sponosors boothes. His rehabilitation is going very well and he is already back in hard training. His comback in racing will be next sunday, may 13. In obertraun, austria and going on racing with the coming worldcups albstad and nove mesto.
 

In the U23-Race fabio püntener was crossing the line, on the special track of solothurn, on 7th place and made his best result from 3 races in his category.
Also casey south, ranked 7th, made his best season result. Jorin gabriel made a good race, finished 23rd, but coulden’t hold his speed from the beginning and had to pay for this.
Nico Eichenberger finished in 30. Position
